for this term we have been buddy reading. I have two buddys today because one of there buddys were Lost.

Experiment Fail

First we lined up and walked to the court. next we sat down in three lines. then miss R dropped the egg. finally it looked cool it looked cool and it exploded. i thought it looked yuck. the egg had just exploded.

yesterday i did athletics. because all the students did high jump. the students said i like it!

What i liked about camp

 Hello Girls boys and others! Today its my first day back from camp! For writing we had to write what we liked and what we didn't really like. so this gives you an example about what i like and what i dont.. So Yeah! Love you guys <3

Hello! I'm going to tell you what I liked and what I didn't really like about Camp!! :)

What I liked about camp!

 Orienteering was fun! Because we had to make sentences with the little letter cards, Sadly i can not remember what the word was but.. I Think it could be “You can make differences?” 

I Loved swimming. There were so many games to play such as Basketball, marko polo, tag, shark attack, ect But my favorite thing about swimming was.. Hanging out with Friends even though they would leave me in the deep end, It was really fun!

Rock climbing was a hit for me personally, We had rock climbing buddies. Mine was susan! (I will link to her blog) We played a game that I had never heard of before called shark attack. Everyone played this game. What you had to do is, get someone to be a shark. Circle around something and wait for someone to yell, “Shark Attack!.” You run over to the wall and climb. BUT! There's a limit where you climb If you go over that limit the shark can get you, If you fall off the shark will get you And the last person on the wall gets eaten by the shark (You don't get eaten really! Go to the place where the dead fish are)

What i didn't like about camp 

Orienteering I know I said I liked it, But..We just had finished a really big walk up a hill (2 Hours for a walk, I Know! Whattt..) we had to walk up and down hills, I almost fell into a bank which was super low down and i was Really high up “Oh no!” I yelled. But we had to walk up and down the steps. But afterwards we had to have a rest “Hooray!”

Recreational activities. There were heaps that I liked but.. I didn’t really like mini golf or the zip line (The zip line was still fun though!!) mini golf was really boring, and there wasn't that much to do..Don't get me wrong! It was still really fun, Just frustrating when you couldn't get the ball into the hole. The zipline was also Pretty fun. It was when you glided your legs and touched trees and bushes, Afterwards I got really scratchy..

Camp concert It was fun watching but My group had spent so much time working on our concert for just me and my best friend to sing and they did nothing. It went really well when we practised but I got really annoyed with my group because they knew what to do.. I went to bed really mad about it. But no one is perfect i thought to myself so i apologised for getting mad the next day.

Camp!

Hey Hey! Its me Elise. Next week we are going to camp so our create tasks are made around camp! (dont thank me for making these ~ AMAZING ~ reading tasks thank my teachers 😻 ) What we had to do this week is complete a mapping sheet. and then personally my favorite part is making our bunk labels! (a photo will be added as you can see!) After we had to make a pictochart on New Zealand's native plants and trees! so thats what we did this week. (I cant post next week due to camp) 🍄🐸💮   Cya!!

Anne frank is a young girl who was Jewish and was involved with the attack of the nazis. in her diary name kitty she describes how she feels while she hides in fear when she turned 14 she was captured and taken to a camp she past away of sickness

Matarki reading week 8

 Kia ora! Its me Elise now if you saw the title your Probably wondering what Matariki is.Well matariki is the Maori new year And it has Finally come! Anyways the Reading task for this week is About matarki 

Creat task 1:

 The matariki - There are 7 sisters and they were very annoying the red star and the blue star got annoyed when the parents heard about this, they called there eldest daughter Matariki to get her younger sisters “Waipun-a-Rangi, Waiti, Ururangi, Tupu-a-nuku, Tupu-a-rangi, Waita! Come quickly” their parents told them their special roles of the Maori new year.

If you can not see the matariki then it's going to be a bad year.

This explains on how if the mataraki is covered by clouds its a bad year But if it isn't covered its going to be a good year for winter harvesting,Growing crops,Going fishing.

This Page (te papa Museum) Shows that not all tribes celebrate matariki at the same time.The matariki is not a constellation it is a star cluster te papa also how you can see the matarki you self this is how. In the morning before sun-rise look to the north east horizon and you can see the your self

The Christchurch earthquake

 hey Everyone welcome to my blog! today i am the first one to blog because i did work at home. :D! i worked really hard so i hope you like it!.

For our first create task we wrote out caption or bio the the blog post.The second create task was making what to do when a earthquake happens and what you would need in a safety kit.The last create task was that we had to get a sheet from our teacher about a news paper. And fill it out after that we worked on the Wigram press.

Cyclone tokotoru

 Hey everyone This week i read a book called cyclone tokotoru its a story about a cyclone that was going that was going to be three time then a usual cyclone never came.

Create task one was simple it was the same as last week we wrote about our story the complimentary text and the challenge text create task 2 was a little bit harder because we had to write  about what to do if the natural disaster happens .create task three was way more difficult because we had to look at a news paper Article and get a idea then we got a sheet from the teacher and wrote about the disatster. after we had to do a newspaper called the wigram press which is the last create task :D
